Abba You’ve been there…

In the calm, in the storm,

In the gentle breeze, in the hurricane,

In the silence, in the noise,

In the stillness, in the restlessness,

In the celebration, in the mourning,

In the morning, in the night,

In the summer, in the winter,

On the mountain, in the valley,

In calm shores, in raging seas,

In delight, in pain,

In abundance, in lack,

In health, in sickness,

In celebration, in sorrow,

In fulfilled longings, in dashed hopes.

In wholeness, in brokenness.

Through it all, I’ve learnt to trust you, to see your hand…

Thank You for yearly milestones, and for daily new mercies.

Thank You for the times when I couldn’t walk on water, and You sent me a boat.

And for the times I attempted to walk on water but fell, and You held me up.

Thank You for the times you parted the Red Sea when it looked like there was no way out, and the times when You simply showed me a way out which I hadn’t seen.

Thank You for the times when you didn’t remove the mountain, but made a way through it.

Thank You for the times when you didn’t level the valleys, but walked with me through them.

Thank You for the times when I didn’t see You work but saw the results, and for the times when You let me see You work behind the scenes.

Thank You for the times when You gave me supply for weeks on end, and for the times when You gave me daily bread only.

Thank You for the times when I wanted multiples, but You gave me one. And for the times when that one became worth more than the multiples.

Thank You for the grand miracles, and for the everyday ones.

Thank You for being patient with me, even when I was impatient with You.

Thank You for loving me, before I even knew what love was.

Thank you for changing my life in an instant, and for changing my heart to become more and more like yours slowly, daily, continuously.

“… being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in me will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ.” (Philippians 1:6, ASV).

Thank You for You, My Saviour, My Lord, My Friend, My Love, My Deliverer, My Healer, My Provider, My Guide, My Good Shepherd, My Banner, My Shield, My Exceeding Great Reward, My Fortress, My Strong Tower, My Dwelling Place, My Vine, My Gardener, My Creator, My Potter, My Treasure, My Rock, My Defence, My Protector, My Refuge, My Comforter, My Helper, My Advocate, My Intercessor, My Strength, My Peace, My Righteousness, My Wisdom, My Alpha, My Omega, My Abba, My All in All.

I am grateful Lord. I will forever be grateful. I will continue to trust You. To trust Your Word. To trust Your Promises. To trust Your Timing. To trust Your Will. To trust your Plans. To trust your Purposes.

To Trust You. To Thank You. To Serve You. To Worship You. To Love You. ALL the days of my life.
